Architecture and interior design firm Onion, have recently completed the Sala Samui Chaweng Beach Resort in Koh Samui, Thailand.

Stepping into the lobby, a guest can easily see the sea right away. A lounge area provides a place for guests to relax in the shade, while curved woven details form a unique ceiling accent.

On the ocean side of the resort, daybeds and umbrellas are located by the round ‘Moon Pool’, that has various levels that gradually get deeper towards the middle.

Inside the restaurant, bamboo posts cover the walls, while the tent-like structure and woven maps create a relaxed dining environment.

Connecting the various parts of the hotel are wood lined walkways that contrast the white exterior of the hotel.
